ORDERING INFORMATION

We are not a large commercial hatchery and may have waiting lists for chicks and hatching eggs.
​
Orders will be shipping on a first come, first serve basis. I will do my best to accommodate month/date requests. Payment must be received in advance for shipped hatching eggs or chicks. Chicks and hatching eggs will only ship when the weather permits.

Not all chicks and hatching eggs will appear on the "shop" page. I will add those as fertility increases and we begin hatching. If you would like to be put on a list to be contacted when available for any that do not appear, please call, text, or email.

REFUNDS ON CANCELLED ORDERS
A cancellation fee of $10.00 will be assessed to prepaid cancelled orders in order to cover credit card processing fees.

CHICKS
The health of the chicks is highly important to us, and therefore, chicks will be shipped when the weather permits. Chicks are shipped with heat packs when necessary and are supplied with grogel and food to ensure they have their nutritional needs met while in transit.
​
The minimum order for chicks is 8 during warmer weather and 10 during the cooler months. You may mix breeds to reach the minimum quantity. Day old chicks will ship USPS EXPRESS on Tuesdays.

Local pickup is always welcome.

Important information on shipping chicks:
Shipments must be inspected AT THE POST OFFICE to file a claim. If there are issues with the order, you must contact me immediately and send pictures.
Shipping of day old chicks EXPRESS is 65.00 most places nationwide. Shipping in Wisconsin is 45.00. If you are located in a surrounding state, shipping may fall into the 45.00 rate. Please contact me if you would like a quote on shipping.
